Hamrick Insurances Services, Inc. et al., Class Action Settlement: A&F was engaged to assist in carrying out the required duties of the administrator in this action due to our experience, expertise, and reputation in class action administration. The various functions A&F performed on this engagement include, but are not limited to:
· Compiling final class membership. · Calculation of award distribution based on multi-tiered settlement award. · Establishment of the Qualified Settlement fund and all ancillary banking arrangements and IRS reporting. · Production and distribution of award checks within desired time constraints.
Claims Administrator. Shonk Land Company, LLC v. SG Sales Company: A&F was selected, from among competing national service providers, to provide all of the administration services in conjunction with the execution of the settlement agreement and all ensuing activities related to this action.
Claims Administrator. The Kay Company, LLC et al, v. Equitable Production Company et al.: A&F was selected, from among competing national service providers, to provide all of the administration services in conjunction with the execution of the settlement agreement and all ensuing activities related to this action.
Transfer Administration. West Virginia Consolidated Public Retirement Board. A&F was selected by the West Virginia Consolidated Public Retirement Board both in 2006 and 2008 to administer the Election and Transfer of 21,000 public employees considering moving from a contribution retirement plan to a defined benefit plan. A&F was responsible for managing and certifying the results of the election process. The projects have involved:
1. Database Management, Electronic Records Management; 2. Notice Processes, Conducting the Election; 3. Receiving, Verifying, and Processing Election and Transfer Forms; 4. Securing Confidential Information; and 5. Managing and Executing the Transfer Process.
Settlement Administration. West Virginia State Police v. West Virginia Department of Public Safety; A&F was responsible for creating a data base of police officers, the back pay due them and for determining overtime pay, interest, retirement plan contributions, and calculating settlement amounts.
Claims Administration. The Logan Medical Foundation, d/b/a LoganGeneralHospital; A&F was engaged to serve as the Claims Administrator and disbursing agent for the Chapter 11 reorganization.
